RADICAL FM creates and curates a unique mix of content centered around music discovery, News, cultural exploration and informed public affairs. RADICAL FM is driven by the spirit of MOKOPANE and delivers in innovative ways -- on the radio, digitally and in person -- to diverse, curious communities around the corner and around the world. A community service of WATERBERG College, RADICAL FM can be found on the air in MOKOPANE TOWN, LEBOWAKGOMO, BAKENBERG, MAHWELERENG, and ALL OVER THE WORLD via five RADICAL FM-developed smartphone apps and online at www.radioking.com/play/radicafmsa.
Music
World-renowned for its music programming, RADICAL FM DJs are given one directive: “play what you love.” Many established and emerging artists will made their S.A. live performance debut on flagship music program Morning Becomes Eclectic hosted by music director Eddie Makopa, Masego Kitchen of others.
Over 5 months of audio and video in-studio performance archives are available on radical fm youtube and through the RADICAL FM Radio smartphone app. Listeners can also access music shows on-demand, as well as Eclectic24, RADICAL FM's all music digital channel featuring original programming from the station's DJs back-to-back, 24 hours a day. RADICAL FM also offers "Today's Top Tune," a free one-day exclusive downloadable song available daily.

RADICAL FM creates culturally responsive programming that speaks to the nuanced interests and needs of the MOKOPANE community. Over 100 weekly hours of original programming features nationally syndicated news and culture shows To The Point with (co-production with PRI), The Treatment with our presenters political week in review show Left, Right & Center, and The Business hosted by Learato Maluleke; in addition to MOKOPANE-focused shows such as Good Food with L Kitchen, among others.
As South African's flagship MAGAZINE RADICAL affiliate, RADICAL FM airs local editions of MAGAZINE RADICAL 's popular morning newsmagazine Morning Edition and afternoon news show All Things Considered. RADICAL FM also broadcasts other South African Public Media's daily business and economy program Marketplace, and MAGAZINE RADICAL's global news program The World.
Listeners can access past programs on-demand and the News24 digital channel at RADICAL FM WEBSITE and through the RADICAL FM Radio smartphone app.
