Celebrity Big Brother 2018 starts in just a few days, and already there are plenty of rumours swirling about the rumoured line-up.

As ever, Channel 5 is keeping tight-lipped about the stars it's got on board, but speculation is building over a handful of big names.

All we know for sure is that the first batch of housemates will be women as CBB marks the centenary of the female vote in 1918.

But there's due to be a few surprises as the series progresses, with men being chucked into the mix to stir up the dynamic.

Rachel Johnson is confirmed!

It's more than just the blonde gene and a sense for gaffe-making that binds the Johnson family together: after dad Stanley's stint in the jungle, daughter Rachel - the sister of Boris Johnson - is said to have signed up to the CBB series.

The family that reality TVs together cleaves together, so it's journalist Rachel who's putting herself in the spotlight this time.

"Bosses want this year's show to be quite different. There are lots of intelligent, cultured people going in, all with strong opinions," a source told the Sun.

"People have been chosen because they might clash — but hopefully there'll be heated debate and discussion rather than just screaming and storming out. Rachel is a great signing and fits the bill."

CBB announced on Christmas Eve the journalist was entering the house.

While he is not a renowned recorded artist as yet, Hendrick has been around the music industry for a while. This distinctive tenor has worked with the Gauteng Jazz Orchestra as one of its leading voices over several years. He has also worked as a background artist with a long list of accomplished local artists, including Kgotso Makgalema, Tebz David, Lionel Petersen, James Okon, Uche, Jonas Gwangwa, Sibongile Khumalo, Johnny Mekoa Big Band, Gauteng Jazz Orchestra, Selaelo Selota, Moreira Changuica, Mimi Ntenjwa and the David Beck Trio. He has shared the stage with international artists such as Lala Hathaway, Rahsaan Patterson, Dee Dee Bridgewaters, Liz Wright, Randy Crawford, Joe Sample and Kirk Whalum. This musical talent has shared his gift with many South Africans at various events across the country. When he is not performing at gigs, Hendrick spends his time sharing his passion with the youth as a music teacher at the developmental Music Academy of Gauteng, which is based on the East Rand.
